My period has disappeared for almost a year
I'm kind of worried... my period has always been irregular and I never thought a thing of it due to it's consistency in my family line... although I had just thought about it recently; I haven't gotten it for at least 7-10 months (im just guessing). I never kept track because I was used to skipping 2-3 months and so on. Now my problem is even worse... because I think I may be pregnant.
    1. I have no period (could be just my irregular period)

    2. I'm aaalways hungry and gaining lots of weight, and my matabolism has always been fast

    3. my boobs are growing and tender

    4. I'm peeing frequently.. and its as if the muscles down there are weak as I cannot hold it in for even a minute

    5. I have lower back pains (could be because of my life long back ache problems, but it's very soar at this moment)

    6. I sometimes feel the sensation of something shifting or moving in my stomach area ( it could be my imagination because I tend to hallucinate in a way; I sometimes see, hear, feel, taste or smell literally what I'm just thinking about)

    7. my stomach is quite firm as if I'm bloated, not mushy like it would be if I were JUST gaining weight from eating

    8. I seem to have a bluish tint in my downstairs area but I'm not sure if that's normal

    9. sometimes I feel like Im PMSing but without the period

    10. I suddenly have a weird interest and love for babies and the idea of family

... now one thing that should be going on is nausea in the morning, and from eating certain foods... but I don't get that at all. That still worries me because my stomach has always been VERY strong and I don't puke from anything at all, not even when I'm sick.

CAN SOMEONE GIVE AN OPINION?! I'm almost convinced... but maybe it could be something else?? One thing that is keeping me comforted is that I'm 17, totally ready to take care of a baby, and I'm happily dating my love who I plan on marrying; we've been together for 3 years and 6 months. :)..

Only way you would know for sure it to take a pregnancy test. Some women will become pregnant even with very irregular periods. Morning sickness is not a given... I didn't have it with any of my children... so that doesn't always have to be a symptom, although it is very common.
Do use protection if you are not truly wanting to become pregnant. Babies are very expensive, and they become even more so as they get older! Not to mention the time and attention that is required... people often underestimate just how much goes into raising a child well.

Take a pregnancy test but even if you are not pregnant go see a doctor about your lack of periods.

Those are all obviously signs from pregnancy and the symptoms. If you were worried about becoming pregnant or might be, go to a dollar store and buy a pregnancy test and try it out. To not have gotten your period for about 7-8 months already is way more than alarming, because it could be something else that may be dangerous.

Try doing a HPT (home pregnancy test). If it's negative... then obviously go to the doctor.

I don't mean to sound mean... its just common sense.

If you are totally ready to take care of a baby, why are you asking how to get on welfare in your other thread? Being totally ready to take care of a baby means financially as well.

I meant that I'm totally ready to do whatever it takes to make this baby happy and healthy. Being totally ready does not have to mean financially unless I refer to finances... I meant mentally ready. I'm really getting annoyed by these immature and rude comments. Please don't say anything at all if it's rude or has nothing to do with answering my question. How dare you insist that I cannot be ready because I don't come from a wealthy background. How old are you! I'm surprised if you are a woman, you must be an Aries (no offense to the Aries that shine with their good traits, instead of being controlled by the not so good ones :P )

Lol no worries you don't sound mean, you sound logical. SOME people on the other hand are so rude that its just immature. *cough cough* :P... I know those are obvious signs, but my body is known for doing very unusual things that are sometimes unexplainable. I have a lot of problems with my physical body. The period thing, that was a dumb move on my part; being used to skipping a few months at a time, I totally didn't realize how long it had actually been after a while. I knew the answers I guess I just needed some back up opinions... and it took a while to find someone to borrow money from to get the test. I live in a small town with not many job opportunities so a lot of people are working crap jobs here.

But anyway, I took the test, Im pregnant :) and things are going perfect

Being totally ready does indeed include being financially ready. I was not financially ready when I had my first one, or my second, but I did not rely on others to pay my bills and buy my groceries. I worked hard for what had then and what I have now.

I am not being rude, but honest. The problem is is that you are offended by the truth. I'm not being immature either, as I am very mature physically, mentally and emotionally. Actually, my first two children are older than you, and my third child is not much younger than you. I had even less money and less support with my third child... but I made it work without going on welfare.

Coming from a wealthy background has nothing to do with being ready to have a child. Being able to support the child has everything to do with being ready to have a child.

I am old enough to be your mother, and I am not an Aries.

Stop it. I'm furious. I'm sorry that I wasn't effing completely literal when I said I'm ready to have a kid. I'm sorry I didn't follow that statement with a paragraph long explanation. I expect people to not be so arrogant!! OH MAN! I'm sorry I didn't put the word "mentally" in there. I know I don't have money to support my baby and I know I'm not financially ready, but my goodness, don't criticize me. I made a mistake, now Im seeking different ways to help. You know I will work as hard as I can, and for whatever money I still need, I will have child support money. Don't be so rude. People like you don't solve problems involving mistakes, all you heartless people do is put them down. How would you know you're not talking to a sensitive person that is easily influenced by what others say. You could really scar someone's mind. I bet a lot of people hate you, not trying to be rude, but I'm just stating the truth;)
