I hope you marked the wires before you removed them from the old thermostat like it says to do in the instructions. You will need that info to hook up the new thermostat or you will have to sound out the wires to see where they land in the inside unit.

LMAO not everyone is an idiot... they are marked... however the wiring codes for each unit are different... so a Y/o on one is not the same on the other... none of the wiring codes match up... so pardon me if I sound rude... rather than a smart remark... can you answer the question at hand?? /

This may be of some help Thermostat signals and wiring - Transwiki. Leave the jumper in place between Rc and Rh unless you have a dual transfomer setup.

If I could offer some advice, insulting one of the most helpful and active people on this forum is in no ones best interest.

The wiring is the same you have to understand how to read it.

    Y to yellow
    G to green
    W to white
RH and RC jumpered then to Red
Those are the simple ones you should have figured out.
The others I want to be sure of and that is what the info is needed for.

Now most people exactly like yourself do not post where the original wires were landed in the original thermostat. IE was red on R? Where was O landed on the old thermostat? On G mabye? See what I mean. This info is needed to transpose to the new stat safely.
You did not post this information that is why I questioned weather or not you labeled where they came from. Most posters on this board do not label them and get into trouble.

I always let the idiots Laugh There A$$ Off first then make them look like an Idiot later something like right now.

Post the answer and I will try to make sure you get the wiring correct. And BTW

The old thermostat number you posted is not listed in the old Honeywell catalogue so look at that number again and repost the correct number ALSO post the sub base number. That is the part with the switches on it. The sub base actually controls what the thermostat does and controls where the wires land/what they do/when.

You have also posted this question all over the web and no one has helped you yet. That is why you are here now.LOL

    Sample of your posting!
