    How many grams of Al2O3 can be produced from 15.0g of Al?

    4Al + 3O2 --> 2Al2O3

    Ok, let's come to your problem.

    According to your equation, 4 moles of Al will form 2 moles of Al2O3. Therefore, you have to find out how many moles of Al there is in 15.0 g of Aluminium.

    You should know that 1 mole of aluminium has a mass of its Ar but in grams.

    Once you got it, find out how many moles of Al2O3 will be produced, that will ba half the number of moles you obtained before.

    Find the Mr of Al2O3 and multiply that value with the number of moles of Al2O3 you got above.
