I have to leave my school in grade 9 because my parents are not rich enough for me to continue a private school.:( I don't want to leave my friends what can I do:confused:

You probably don't want to hear this, but trust me, you will make new friends at your new school. When I was in high school my group of friends changed at least twice, and other people I knew went through even more groups of friends than that. My point is that four years of high school is a long time and you will do a lot of changing yourself and will be able to meet people that you would not have been able to at your other school.

I imagine that you could still stay in contact with your current friends as well. Phone, computer, seeing each other and hanging out still?

I'm sure this is very stressful for you, but I promise that it will be all right. Try not to worry about it, and think of it as an exciting chance to meet more people than you already know now.

Parents do the best they can, and all we can do is work with it.
They can not afford private school, so you will end up going to regular school. It may be possible to stay friends

Are there any scholarships your current school offers? Other than that, I agree with the previous two responses.

Nothing happens by coincidence. As icky as it feels at the moment, there is a purpose to the change of schools. There are special things to accomplish and friends to meet. None of which can happen if you don't change schools.

Beating your pillows and screaming might help take the edge off feeling miserable. Remember that your parents would not do this to you if they could choose otherwise. Change can be tough on everyone, so be kind and respectful towards your parents.

Before things get better, first they have to get different. Change is the unknown. It can be scary. You get to choose how to face it.
