    Is it even possible?
Well, dancing has been my passion for a long time now. But my mom doesn't support me at all. So she won't help me pay for dance classes, or even let me go for that matter. I'm only a sophomore in high school so I have a while to go until college. But I really want to be a dancer when I'm older. I love hip hop. But my mom is just bringing me down constantly. She knows I have the talent. But she says "dancing isn't going to pay your bills". Well, I think it will. I think she's wrong. I just wish there was a way to convince her. Like maybe a professionals opinion. Just to prove to her that I can do it. What should I do?

Hey :) dancing is one of the most beautiful things in this world. It is great that you want to start early. I was not so fortunate, started quite late :( .Most dancing schools have classes only once or twice a week. That will allow you to continue with your pursuit of studies as your mother wishes. Try convincing your mother that you want to take it up as a hobby. As you begin your classes, you will begin to discover yourself more as a dancer and you would be more in a position to take decisions, find avenues to enter the world of dancing :) . Maybe your teachers at the dance academy would be able to help you find a way .

All The Best :) and do keep us posted
