    Bills owing after estate has been closed
    I am in CA my husband died in 2007 his estate was closed as far as filing claims against it for outstanding bills. Now a collection agency is callling everyday telling me I need to pay a medical bill that he had. Am I responsible for this bill?

    When was the bill from? Was is during the time you were married or before hand?

    What was in his estate, was there money or property left over in the estate not used to pay other bills ?
