    Case Withdrawn?
    If you were charged with theft under and the case was withdrawn by the court, would you still have a criminal record, and would that affect your ability to travel for instance from Canada to the United States?

    If there was no conviction there is no record.

    Not that easy. I have a misdemeanor that was withdrawn but the record still is there. So without going through an expungement process which in reality does not remove that record what does a good honest person will have to do when his attorney loused his clean record with a Plea In Abeyance?

    You either made a plea agreement, wherein you plead GUILTY, or your charges were withdrawn.. It can't be both.
