    Theft over $1000?
I have canada savings bonds in my name which are being held from me. They total over $1900.
My mother refuses to give me the bonds, though they are 100% in my name. Does this count as theft over 1000? Is there any way I can get my money from her?

Courts would most likely view it as a civil issue, Who paid for the bonds, what authority was she given over them ?

Also how old are you ?

But in general you will have o sue her in civil court
