    Can a ceiling fan remote be used with a 3-way switch set up

    In order for the remote to fully control the fan, the fan needs to have continuous power. So, you'll have to keep the switches on (which sort of defeats the purpose of having a switch).

    Sorry it doesn't work out.

    Some remotes remember the setting, so you could use both switches to turn the light on and off. But better to leave both switches on and use the remote.
