    Confused!
    hi.. I'm 18 going on 19 years old & currently a sophomore in college. Recently after I finished my pack of Yaz, I never went back to get another prescription. I was off the pills for 2-3 weeks. In between that time me & my boyfriend of 4 years had unprotected sex. He pulled out, but I felt some "" by my vagina. That next week my breasts hurt, I was tired, & I was naseuated. I started back taking my birth control pills that Wednesday. I don't feel as bad as I did, but my breasts are really sore, I'm always tired, & have a lot of gas (sorry TMI). I recently saw some light brown discharge & last night I saw brown discharge & it was very mucous-like. Also, last week I cramped as though my period was coming, but it never did. Is this the birth control or am I pregnant? ANSWER ASAP! THX! =]

    First, pull out method is not good to use because you can get pregnant off precum.

    The only thing for you to do is take a pregnancy test since you missed 2 or 3 weeks of your birth control and had unprotected sex.

    Honeybee, I am sorry, but we cannot diagnose you over the internet. Being a professional in women's health, I would never even begin to diagnose you without an exam and specific tests run.

    With that said, if you and your boyfriend engaged in unprotected sex (the withdrawal method is not a form of birth control and can get you pregnant as easily is not pulling out), you now need to take a pregnancy test. If you take one at home, make sure you use first morning urine. Better yet, go to the doctor for a blood test.
