    Depression Confession
(I accidentally posted this in the Death & Dying category, I hope you all don't mind a this double in a more fitting category)

I have, and have had for a number of years now, felt that I am depressed and this feeling has recently seemed to worsen. I know I should tell someone but different parts of me are telling me different things; one side doesn't want to tell anyone at all because the feeling makes me feel almost normal, another hopes someone will figure it out and say something, and yet another doesn't want to tell anyone because I don't want to burden them in anyway.

I'm not alone, I just feel lonely. And like I said I don't want to tell the few very close friends I have because I don't want them to worry.

I know it all sounds slightly ridiculous but that's just how I feel.
I feel I should clarify, but for now that's all that seems to make sense right now.

You have to work on your low self-esteem.

The more things you do, the better you feel about yourself, and you build a positive identity. Consider taking up a sport, a new hobby, a daily speedwalk, an altruistic project, and intellectual endeavor... build these things into your life gradually. Your self-esteem will go up.

Having a happy life is about ACTION... doing stuff, being a well rounded person. As it turns out, our lives are all about how much effort we expend to make them happy.

    Best wishes, :)

Just ask yourself, what made you depressed mostly?
and why it's getting worse lately?
What have you done if you want to be better?

You really a good friend from what I saw. You care not only yourself too. But you have to realize this. You don't want to make your friends worry about, but if you STILL like this for a long time, how can your friends don't pay attention to you.
Believe me, You can't always hide.
Your friends won't worry about you IF you are not like this anymore, I swear to you cause I have friends too =)...

Do you like to try a new things? Maybe you should.
Making new friends, sport, or anything just like choux suggested.
You can mail me at [email protected] if you want to talk.
Just remember, the one that can change you are ONLY YOU, no one else, OK. Still many person will help you with all your problem.

Good luck! Wish the best from you
