    Unadjusted trial balance
    I am trying to prepare a 10 column worksheet. Am I right by pulling the GL info to the unadjusted trial balance. I can't balance, any suggestions>

    On the worksheet the first column contains the account Names. Column 2 and 3 is your unadjusted trial balance account balances. Column 2 is your debit account balances and coumn 3 is you credit account balances.

    If your unadjusted trial balance does not balance first check to make sure you posted the correct balance and your account balances are in the proper column.

    If that does not work check your math in your T-accounts.

    Also check to make sure you journalized your entries properly and posted the entries correctly into your T-accounts.

    Assets and expenses normally have a debit balance.

    Liabilities, Owners Equity, and Revenues normally have a credit balance.

    Check for any unusual account balances.
