Do you know what is produced during photosynthesis? I know in lower classes, they tell you that food is produced. Later, you'll learn that this food is a carbohydrate, more precisely glucose. It is converted to starch for storage in the plant, and when we eat the plant, the starch is broken down back to glucose, which is used by our cells.

    Hope it helped!:)
