    Crash Memory Dump in XP-Pro
I have had the "Blue Screen of Death" several times but the coputers reboot before I can read the error messages. I understand that there is a way that I can set up my systems (one is an XP-Pro Svc Pack 2 desktop and the other is a Motion Tablet XP-Pro Service Pack 3) to store a dump of the memory that would include the error message(s). My systems may already be set up to do the dump but I do not know where to find it or the systems may not be set up to create the dump.

    So... Can someone advise:

One, where such a dump is stored if it is being created and

Two, How to set up my system to create the dump if my systems are not so set up at this time?

    Thanks,

    Ed

Dump settings and location are in Control Panel > System> Advanced Tab > Startup and Recovery Settings. Also check the event logs at Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.
