    What foods to avoid for kidney stones
    I have had kidney stones twice and they are horrirbly painful. II landed in the er all night. Are there any specific foods to avoid that could cause them? Thanks, julie

    I've had a friend that has had several bouts of kidney stones. Stay away from stuff with lots of salt and or sugar. Drink lots of water... push the water... I know that doesn't help the pain, but it should help keep the kidney stones from coming back once they've passed.
