Does Anyone KNow How to Peirce a lip? Ok look I want to peirce my lip. I mom won't take me to get it done, I have peirced my ears 4 times and my nose and she was fine with it.

Wait until you are 18 and go to a piercing/tattoo parlor and get it done. Piercing yourself is never a good idea. You can never get anything sterile enough to do it with, and it most of the time results in infection. I know you do not want a swollen, red lip with pus coming out of it. Its not attractive, I've seen infected lip piercings. Not to mention if you do it wrong, it could come out crooked and wouldn't look good anyway.

Wait until you are 18. Since you are underage, nobody here is going to assist you, or at least they shouldn't. I'm sorry, I know that's not what you wanted to hear. :)

I've done alotta research on this and the thing is I could peirce my ears and my nose but I'm not sure that I can do my lip. Ill work up the courage I just need tips.

okay I know u should get in doe professionaly but what separates profs. From normal people is equipment and experience so your best is get it done by a prof because experience always helpz

but if u want to do it yourself listen here :D
(I advise u to buy some sterile needlez and some forceps like me, needlez are cheap and u can buy them in large amounts pretty cheap and the hollowness helps believe me >_<)

-1st put some gloves one

-2nd clean the area u are going to do it at with some salt water

-3rd clean your ring with autoclave or if u can't I would use germ X and/or some alcohol preps)

-4th washout your mouth really quick try to use something with no or very little alcohol because it dries thingz outw

-5th get a sharpie or a really dark pen and mark where u think is a good place for your lip

-6th now get your forcepz (they should have a little circle or triangle so u can hold on to your lip while u pierce it) and get a rubber band and clamp it together so u have 2 free hands.

-7th now get your needle out of the package and don't put it below your waist or else that equallz unsterile and since every thing is marked shove it in... the onez u buy are laser sharp and its real easy (start from inside your lip because the hole inside your mouth is real easy to loose)

-8th if u bought a needle there is a whole in it so u can slip in the ring or stud or watever through then take out the needle and just finish it

-9th now wash out your mouth again (remember try to use small amounts of alcohol)

-10th wash it 2 times a day or after u eat,drink liquer,smoke,etc...


now I have been doing this since I was a freshman and now I'm a senior and this works every time, people know me for it and if I don't know them I only charge 10 bux but it adds up and I like it... its fun lol

like I said none of my "clients" have ever complained of infection and I gave them the same advice so just follow directions the only thing that should happen is swelling and crust but only for about a week or less and just clean the crust off... and if u want to know where I get my toolz it's a website called Belly button rings, Tongue Piercing, Nipple rings its cool and I think pretty cheap now see you... oh and that other chick is rite if u don't the toolz or experience just wait till a proff. Can do it

I pierced my own lip the other day.
All I did was swish salt water around my mouth, And clean the
Outside of my lip with rubbing alcohol. I used a large safety pin.
To steralize it, I just held it to my lighter for a good minute.
I did wear gloves. It took me a while to gain the courage to push the
Needle through. But it didn't hurt at all. All you will feel is a little pinch.
Be sure to mark where you want it. And try not to wiggle it, 'Cause it will be crooked if you do. Leave the safety pin/needle in for a minute or so, Then pull it out.
For me, It hurt pulling it out. But not to bad. Push your lip ring through. Make sure the ring is steralized also.

Hi u can go to eBay and get the stuff I have done my ears my lip and my nose all myself the only thing I got done and didn't do it my own was my tongue so I would say go for it but make sure its OK with your mom
