    Wage garnishment
    I heard they can't garnish your wages in Pennsylvania for credit card debt. I work in New Jersey put live in Pennsylvania. Am I exempt from wage garnishment

    Yes, PA does not allow garnishment for credit card debt. However, I'm not sure that would prevent them from garnishing your wages since you work in NJ.

    It also wouldn't prevent them from attaching your bank accounts.

    Where do they pay you out of, also they may still freeze your bank accounts Also do you actually GO to the other state to work or do you do work in your state or other states and merely get paid out of that state
