    Well I'm not sure.
Hey guys, I'm a sophomore in high school... and I'm just assuming that since I am going through the whole growing up process, I'm going through a lot of stages. But then I ask myself... well why doesn't anyone else in my grade seem to be going through this? They all seem fine! So right now, I'm still trying to find out what my place is supposed to be on this earth. My friends all tell me I brighten people's day and everything, but then I feel like I don't have very many friends. I fall in and out of understanding that most of the people in my grade are jerks anyway and I'm better off not knowing them... sometimes I understand this and I'm fine, other times I'm just like wow I feel like I should get to know them even though most of them don't even want to know me. I also start losing all sense of what I used to do to have fun. Like if I have people over to hang out at my house, I don't know what to do with them... I used to be so entertaining! I just don't understand. Same thing with my conversation topics. A lot of the time I have no idea what to say anymore... its just so hard to explain, please, does anyone have any advice for me?

Have you gone through something to change your character? Have you thought of speaking with a counselor or even the friends you do have? I think it is normal to feel these things. You will come into who you will supposed to be. Give it time.

    I don't think I have... if so, it wasn't something I've done...
But yeah I've tried talking to my friends and went to the counselor, and all I got out of it was that I have a lot going through my mind all the time and I should journal but I don't know lol

A journal sounds like a good idea. Get these thoughts out of your mind onto paper. It just might clear your mind.;)

OK look... I hated high school. Hated all the stupid drama, everyone thinking they are cool, blah blah blah.. high school is gay. Once you get out of that stupid "im a cheerleader" or "i am manly and play football" you realize everyone has something they love... some people never grow up and are still the same annoying people they were in high school ten years down the road. All in all... Have fun while you can. College will rock your brain... There are thousands and thousands of students at a university who all have different interests... its not just your graduating class or your high school in the world... so get out there.. meet some people... sounds like you are just maturing faster that everyone else which is what happened to me...

Yeah... these feelings are pretty normal amongst teenagers.
