Hi, I have a girlfriend and we have a baby, can I claim them as my dependents? My girlfriend age is 18 and our baby is about two months. What I should I do? Do I have to go to IRS to fill up some information?

Actually no you don't need to go to the IRS all you need is the SSN of both mother and child. But tha t only counts if they live with you. The child as long as the mother don't claim it you can when u are doing your taxes file that you have a dependent (child) and give info that is needed but if you need more info you can look up on irs.org and there u can look up any info you need or just call the nearest h&r block they will know the answers and tell you what to do.
