My other laptop broke in about march which was xp, so I bought a new hp laptop that is now vista. I can't connect my new laptop to the router because of security settings. But I can connect to the router from my itouch... it just asked for my password. But it won't ask me for a password for my new laptop... any suggestions?

Delete your pofile for your router on your vista. Then you want to refresh your vista machine to look for your network again. It should automatically find your network and ask for your password and your security settings. Type in your password and go surfing! Good luck!

Hey thanks for the reply :)
Ummm but what do you mean delete my profile for the router? Lol I'm not good with this router thing at all. I had my friend try and figure it out through msn where you request remote assistance, and he couldn't figure it out either. We tried deleting it off the list of routers, and then re-adding it (worked for my neighbours network) but now its completely gone  I have no idea what to do :(
