    Trane XE80 ignites then goes out.repeats
    Hi all,
    I have a Trane xe 80 furnace approximatly 9 years old. When started this year, when heat is commanded. The blower starts, it clicks, ignites for about 3 seconds, and then stops. Blower comes on again, it ignites for about 3 seconds, then stops. It will repeat about 10 times this way. I looked in the site glass, an red monitor light is flashing steady. No codes... any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you:confused:

    Flashing steady,? Most led lights don`t flash at all when all is normal,, it stays on solid,, no flashing,, sounds like you are flashing a code one

    Probably have a dirty flame sensor.
