    Exterior Painting of HOME?
    :)

    Ok you Pro's!

    I've got 2 things I'm considering!

    1) Paying some one to paint my home. It's about 1700 sq. ft ranch with average amount of windows and Trim. How much should I be looking at paying for this Service?

    2) I'm considering buying a low end Commercial sprayer from Lowe's and doing it myself. Is their any thing I should avoid or consider when buying paint or Supplies? It's starting to get cold here is their a Temp to cold to paint in? Any Suggestion in this regard is greatly appreciated.

You guys have given good advice in the past, so I'm looking to you again!

    Thanks!

It is hard to guess how much someone will charge you, call 3 painters and get bids for the most accurate price.

You can rent a good airless sprayer from a paint store, might be better than buying a low-end one. They can also give you advice on what paint to use.

50 degrees is about the coldest temperature you want to paint in.

I can't agree more with amricca. Painting is not rocket scienec, well maybe the trim is but you wan do a good job with an airless sprayer. I would rent on unless you have other future projects where you could useone again. I bought the Wagner Paint Crew and have painted homes and stained log cabins.

You could save a lot of money by spraying the main body of the house (Which is easiest) , and if you had to hire soemone to do the trim, it wouldn't be that expensive. Heck, youi could even over spray on the trim a little... With yourself and a few friends ( and beer and lunch) you could probably mask and spray the whold body of this house in 1 day...
