My boyfriend and I started dating back in 2006. We were going to be married in march but he started acting distant from me 5 months before the wedding. And he felt like he needed some space. We broke up for a few months then got back together.I gave him the space he needed. And he came back now he said he feels like there is something missing. When we are together everything feels so great and he says the samething that it feels like we are meant to be. But he still feels like there is something missing and he can't figure it out. He said he loves me and doesn't want to loose me and that the missing me so much. He lets everything stress him out and holds it in. and gets the moods where he don't ant to be around anyone. Bt he still feels like there is something missing and he can't figure it out. He said he loves me and doesn't want to loose me and that the missing me so much. What can we do to figure out what might be the problem?

Please help use try to figure out what it is and what we can to to fix it.

Maybe seeing a relationship counselor is good for the both of you. Me and my fiancé saw one in the past and it's was a very good experience. He might have some sought of fear about the relationship but your need to get to the root of the problem. How was his past relationship.

He was married before. They were together for five years married for a year and a half. They got a divorce because she quit helping out with bills and started drinking and sleeping around on him with a female. After they separated he found out that she took out loans in his name while they were married and screwed him out of 15 thousand dollars. And he is the first real relationship that I have ever had. He is 33 and I'm 23. So I can see why he started having problems so close to the wedding. He said that he was scared that iwas going to get tired of being with him because of the age difference and that I would do the same thing that witch di to him. I love him so much and don't want to loose him. I know in my heart that we are meant to be together. He say the same thing.

He isn't ready to be married! Couples counseling may help.

Basically he doesn't want to go through what he has been through before. Understandable since it takes a long time to heal deep scars.

I understand that completely. Now that I have thought about marriage I am not ready to be married yet niether. But its like one week we are great and the next two weeks he shouts me out only talking to me on the phone. If it feels perfect when we are together and it doesn't feel like anything is missing if he keeps shouting me out and not talking about it how will we gifure it out. Does anyone know were we could find a good counclor. He said he want to work on us. I really love him and when he looks at me I can see he loves me in his eyes.

You can start with your doctor for a referral, or your pastor. Don't know where you are but googling marriage counseling in your area can get you in the ballpark or call the local human resources office can get you pointed in the right direction.
