    Finding old bond
    A family member told me that they put a bond in my name about 25 years ago however all documents are lost. How would I find out that information?

    You need to contact the company who issued the bond.

    Was it a US Savings Bond? If so, you should can contact the treasury department to have it replaced. This is assuming the bond was issued in your name and SS number. See:

    Individual - Replacing or Reissuing EE/E Bonds

    You can submit form PD F 1048
