    Light works but fan doesn't
    Hi all I have a Hampton Bay 60 In. Ancient Bronze St. Regis Fan and the light works but fan doesn't when I press a button on the remote to turn fan on the fan makes a clicking noise it just clicks once... anyone know what could be wrong? We don't have a wall switch. And the fan is indoors.

    If it clicks but the fan does not operate it sounds as though something is wrong with the receiver or fan itself. Check to make sure all the wires are firmly connected, and if that isn't the problem you may want to get a new fan under warranty.

    Well my mom's friend is coming here today he is kind of a eletricatl so he will check the wires. And this fan is under lifetime warranty.
