    I'm trying to learn meanings of new words and was wondering what these words such as this meant...

    Objective Description
    Subjective Description
    Dominant Impression
    Figure of Speech
    Metaphor
    First Person Point Of View
    Third person point of view
    Compare
    Contrast (does this mean compare?)
    Transition (as in a phrase or word)

    You know, you could put every one of those into a Google search and find out what they mean just by putting the word "definition" after each of them. Don't need to include the quote marks.

    For example:

    Objective Description
    Objective Description Definition - Google Search

    Subjective Description
    Subjective Description Definition - Google Search

    Dominant Impression
    Dominant Impression Definition - Google Search

    I'm sure that you could do the rest. :)
