    Underage pregnancy
    My niece is 16 and her ex boyfriend is 19. She is pregnant now. He is saying he can take the baby away from her. His mom is saying she can take it. My question is: Can they legally take her child after it is born? We're in Texas.

    No, she is not even required to list him on the birth certificate.

    He can file to be reconised as the father by a DNA test. And most likely he will get visits,

    To take the child , they would have to prove she is a unfit mother. So as long as she and the parent or guardian she is living with treats the child property there should be no problem
