    Installing the Hoeywell RTH3100C
    I currently have a Goodman system with emergency heat. The system is about 12 years old. The thermostat I currently have on it is a "LUX" PSMH45 LHP750 Mercury type. The way it is hooked up to the "LUX" is as follows: (This works Good I want to change to digital)

    E - Brown
    G - Green
    Y - Yellow
    R- Red
    X - Blue
    O - Orange
    2 - White
    B - Black

    I want to install a Honeywell RTH3100C which I purchased. Below I have listed the terminal lugs can you please indicate which color wire to place on the lugs?

    E -
    AUX -
    Y -
    G -
    O -
    L -
    R -
    B -
    C - (This indicates is optional with batteries) What does that mean?

    Sorry your instruction manual was missing from your thermostat box. Below I have included a electronic version for you. Follow the directions exactly and you should have no problems.
