    Can I claim any benefits without claiming for my wife
    As a british subject is it possible for me to claim any state benefits I have a american wife who I know can not claim but do,s this mean I myself can not claim... I would like to know if it is possible for me to claim pension credits on my own without including my wife on the same claim as at the moment we are paying everything out of a rapidly decreasing savings account... ie. Rent, water,gas,elect, food, council taxes, etc

    Can't claim because in the immigration law
    If you claim yourself then your wife.
