    Poetry Input
    Hi all,

I have never considered myself a writer and seem to only write when it is an assignment for class. My creative writing class last year had us create a website to display our portfolio as the final project in that class, and I would really like any input anybody has to give me. She said I should look into publishing, but I have no idea if they are good enough for that nor do I know how to go about doing that if they are good. Like I said, I'd love any input that can be given!

    ~Thanks~

P.S.- The "stu" needs to go before "www" in order for it to load.

    Exquisite poetry and artistry.

If it were available in book form, it would be wonderful to own or be given to someone special. Are they your photos by the way?

All the photos are mine except the one for "Night" and "Praise." My camera wasn't good enough in either of those situations. I am very glad that you enjoyed them.

Wow... they're perfect as they are and because they inspired your writing, it comes together as something exceptional. I hope you find a publisher.

Thank you very much. If you have a chance, the Gallery tab on the website has some other works I've written in the past. It even includes an essay on how my hair has illustrated different times of my life; it was an interesting assignment to say the least.

Looks like you had fun with that. My 11 year old daughter was born with a lot of hair and having long hair has been like her signature. She has streaks and wants it layered at the moment. No doubt she'll want it all chopped off one day... like mum :)

Have you written any short stories? Just curious.

Yeah. I have written some short stories... they aren't nearly at par with my poetry though and I don't write them as much. On the same page as hairy beginnings, there are some short story like things. "Courage," "Luke's Isle," "How to Talk to a Child," and "Isaiah's First Day." I don't know if you'd call them short stories really... they are more like essay type stuff. "Luke's Isle" is meant to be a short story though.

I'll read through your other stories a little later. Love your poetry especially and look forward to reading more sometime.

    Best to you.
