She must have been over the checks, electronic signed or presigned checks on computer.
Or she forged the name and signed them.
But the harassment will not stop this, and sorry? You don't know how much you stole, well were the checks 100 dollars or 1000 dollars, how many times, you did deposit them.
They will go though and find every check you wrote, and charge you for them, you have better start remembering or they may decide it is a lot more than it really is.

Thank you all for your not so much advice that I already knew, it sounds to me that most of you not all of you, but most are just on hear to judge people and toot your own horn. Instead of giving advice and answers you did nothing but put me down so hurray for you. I know that she went in and stole the computer and printer and the checks she is very good with computers and this is not the first time she has done something like this, I am worried because I don't know how many checks she has taken and I am going to get blamed for more than I did. I do not plan on liying to the police but I do need to turn her in as well. I had no idea she planned on robbing them until several days after it was done. So know I have to prove I was not involved I was at home with my kids the night it happened and I am still trying to get her to tell me where the stuff is, she hid it at some's home that I don't know, so I am hoping that I can make a deal with the police.

Your story keeps changing. Now SHE is the one who stole the checks and cashed them? You had said it was YOU who had done that.
at first it was just one check then it was so easy every time I needed money I just printed out another. My so called friend of over 20 years said if I don't print her one then she would turn me in
How can we judge you since we still don't know what really happened?

I'll give you some advice - you're going to go to jail for embezzlement. Regardless of what your reason was for stealing the money from the sex addict - you stole the money. Unless you can repay the full amount asap, you are going to spend some time in jail. How much, I don't know, but you will spend some time in jail. What you did is punishable by at least 6 months or more in jail and probation and restitution on top of that. How's that for advice? If your coworker "forced" you to give her a check, oh well. That is just going to go against you, not her.
Hire yourself a good criminal attorney and pack your toothbrush. There will be no way around your case as each check you cashed is one count of embezzlement against you and the more checks, the more solid evidence they have against you. The most you could hope for would be some sort of plea bargain and then some type of jail time.

OMG" I said yes I wrote some but now I find out that she went in and stole property from them and the police said she had more than one check I only printed out one for her so how did she get the others? I think she printed out more knowing that I am going to be in trouble for the ones that I did and that the police will just assume that I wrote all of them. How do I prove that I did not write all of hers just the one is all I did for her and I think I know where the stolen property is if I come forward about the robbery will they work with me on the other charge?
