I had almost the same problem. My parents didn't like my fiancé, and they broke us up. I didn't know if I should move on, or if I shouldn't. If I didn't, it would hurt more to find out later, that he had moved on, if I did, I might find someone else, or just be pleasently surprised if he showed up one day. What I did, was after a few months I contacted him, he said that he had not moved on at all. He may be back, he may not, it's his choice, What I would do in the meantime, is give yourself as much time as you need to heal- decide whether or not to move on, and possibly contact him, just to see where he stands, that will be the key thing in deciding whether to move on or not.

    Hi, charllot!

I just moved your question from Introductions to this topic area where it will get noticed more. Introductions is only for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there. I see that you have already received a response already from jaime90.

Now, you'll be more likely to get even more responses!

    Thanks!

After 3 months, I wouldn't be holding my breathe for him to come back.

Get your life in order, and stop worrying about him.

As Tal said, it was short and its not over. I wouldn't think much of it, as he isn't.

Do your best to move on and look to the future, not the past. We get nowhere looking backward.
