    I miss my old Hair
I changed my previous hair: http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/phot...92744_2366.jpg

    To this new hair: http://photos-h.l3-t.facebook.com/ph...580263_340.jpg

It's a huge change. The new hair is temporarily... I'll only have it in for 3 months. I am going to school on Monday and I'm nervous that people won't like it. Also, I don't want people to be thinking that it looks too fake.

    Am I worrying about nothing?

But I didn't do anything to it. It's still the same except I put it in braids.

Sounds to me like you took my advice to get out there and find something important to do with your free time, some way to give back to others, build others up, be a little more involved in other people's needs instead of your looks...

... Looks like you took that advice and... what?. changed your hairstyle? Then immediately started wondering if others will hate it?

Everything in your life really is about your looks and fretting over other people liking them, isn't it? I'm so disheartened. There is SO much in the world you could apply all this creative energy to... *sigh*.

More in reply to the above comment , I think the above comment by jbeaucaire is creating an issue out of nothing, its hair its up to you whether you like it or not simple as.. if you like it keep it if you don't change it.

    Calm down,
You are getting on my nerves.
Plenty of teenagers fret about changed hair-dos and all.
You seem to think that all I am is looks, looks, and looks.
You are so wrong... I am much more than that.

Its normal to fret about your looks as a teenager and whether others will like new hairdos and so forth. New hairdos take a few weeks to get used to anyway before you start to feel comfortable and confident with it. It doesn't mean she is all looks - she's just changed her hair and is feeling different. I fretted over my looks my whole teen life - who didn't? It doesn't mean I was a lesser being who didn't give back to others or use my free time to build myself up. I wouldn't be where I am today if I didn't.

Teenage girls are in a way selfish, but it's societies fault. We are basically told from birth to be skinny, have large breasts, and look as hott as we can. Don't pick on this girl, she's doing the same thing all of us teenage girls do. I don't know how many times I've cried and asked a hundred people if my hair looks okay... she's acting the way she is...
