    Pilot light will not stay on
    I have base board heating and the piolot lite will not stay on. The gas comes out so I can lite the piolot, and I hold down the button for 1 to 2 minutes but it will not stay on. Can anyone help?

    Probably the thermocouple is defective.

    Also the burning pilot could be to far away from the bulb on thermocouple,

    You say baseboard heat. What do you mean. Do you have a boiler system. If so, I would start by replacing the thermocouple. This is the copper (not aluminum) tube leading from the gas valve to the pilot assembly. Should be a very small copper tube.
