    3 week old puppies
Now they're eyes are open, they're learning how to walk, and they explore. Is it time to start feeding solids or should I wait another week? The mom is still feeding and cleaning them off. When I start feeding them solids do I still let them nurse on mom? Or do I just completely wean them? Any tips/advice for the 3 week olds would be great. Thanks

Four to six weeks pups usually start on semi solid food, a good quality puppy food moistened. Mom will let them, and you know too if you watch closely, when she is ready to stop feeding them. She will probably stand up to nurse and then start walking away, letting the pups know that she is stopping the milk.
