    You could give a shot yourself, but you would have to make sure the shot stays cold until you give it, if it gets to room temperature then it is useless. If you purchase it from a supplier, then you will see there are two little tubes, one with powder and one with liquid. Draw the liquid out of the bottle with a syringe and then inject it into the powder and mix them together well. Then simply draw out the mixture, get all air out of the syringe and inject it at the nape of the neck. I would suggest peeling the stickers off the bottles and putting them on some sort of record to show a vet later on. Its not difficult to do, but to be on the safe side a vet would be the safest bet. You can't always know if the store or supplier kept the shot cold, even if you do.
