    isoseles trianggle
    the measure of the base angles of an isosceles triangle is 9 degress less than 4 times the measure of the vertex angle. Draw a diagram, then write and solve an equation to find the measures of the triangle.

    Recall that the sum of the angles of a triangle is always 180 degrees, and that for an isoceles triangle two of the angles are the same. From the info you've been given you should be able to set up an equation in terms oif the vertex angle (call it V) that shows how the three angles add up to 180. Can you take it from here?
