    On The Web
    Hi
On the web I often see

In the contact section click here to e mail

I click, and a Yahoo page comes up but there's
No address in the address box.

About a month ago I changed over to Yahoo
Before that I think outlook express was coming up

I changed over to e mail
How I did this I ve forgotten

But anyway, the Yahoo page is coming up but
    No e mail addy
    Any suggestions ?
    Thanks for comments

Can you send us a link to the page you're referring to that has the "click here to email" link on it?

Also, when you say "I changed over to e mail", what do you mean?

You may have set your default e-mail to Yahoo, but I don't think e-mail links will work with Yahoo since you have to log in first.

There's lots of web sites have this facility

If you want to contact them you click e mail

And for me a window came up that was outlook express

I discovered that you could change this

Maybe I went to tools int options then
Programmes and changed to Yahoo e mail

    I can t remember.

    ( I'm using int explorer )

Now when Im on a web site and go for the e mail
The Yahoo page comes up to send e mail but there's
    No address

Like I said, the nature of Yahoo is such that it may not be able to pick up the address from the MailTo link. Outook Express since, it's a e-mail client, can do it.

Yahoo! Used to have a program called Essentials that would enable a Yahoo! Mail option for your default mail. However, Essentials is no longer available, and they seem to have abandoned this capability altogether. Perhaps there was a legal reason for doing so.

Scott's said what's wrong (welcome back btw) and here's how to set the default email client back to Outlook Express:

From Internet Explorer go to Tools >> Internet Options
    Click on the "Programs" tab
Change the email program to what ever you want it to be.
