It depends on where you live. But if you are now 16 and he is 24, yes, there is a very good chance he could be prosecuted for stautory rape. If you were 15 when you started having sex with him, especially when you conceived, then the chances increase.

While there are no laws that govern dating, meaning its not illegal to date someone 24 when you are 16, there are laws against having sex with him. Since its apparent you have already had sex with him, if you think he may have gotten you pregnant, then we need to deal with that.

Most states set the age of consent at 16. But even in those states, where the age difference is greater, generally over 3-5 years, then you could be over the age of consent and he would still be guilty of statutory rape.

As has been mentioned very often when this question comes up, an adult male is at a very different phase of life than a 16 yr old girl. A 24 yr old having sex with a 16 yr old is very likely to be a pedophile. Not someone you want to marry.

As Scott said, you can get married with parental consent; you can "date." If you are having sex - and I would assume you are if you "might" be having a baby by him - he can go to jail, depending on your age when the sexual relationship started. There also could be a problem legally because of the number of years between you.

Correct, you can get married with a parent or guardian signing for you. In some states, ( like GA) for example if you have sex he can be convicted of rape and sent to jail for a long time along with being a child molestor on record.

Just honestly, I would be seriously worried about a 24 year old man who is wanting to date a 16 year old, at those years it is just too much difference
