    Chemistry Confusion.
    What is the symbol for the neutral atom that has 58 electrons?
    How many electrons are in one neutral atom of Mn - 55?

    You should "google" such questions!!
    If it is a neutral atom there are as many negative electrons as positive protons.
    So which element has 58 protons ?

    And how many protons are there in Mn (55) ?
    Note that this "55" means protons and neutrons (the way to differentiate between isotopes), so look for Mn and not for 55!!
