    What happens when you lie?
I recently lied on a job app. About not having a felony, does anyone knows what happens to a person when they've lied ?

Yes, normally they are found out, and not hired, and those management people will always remember you as someone who lied. Or you may get hired, then blackmailed by another person who knows or finds out. Or when the company finds out they fire you.

And, this sort of thing can follow you from job to job that you apply for because of potential employers checking with others about your employment record.
