I have been married for 11 months and I have my first interview this month. I have already been issued my work permit and social security. My wife and I didn't get along well and have not actually been together for 9 months and now I have a new relationship and so does she. My wife is willing to go with me to the interview but I am afraid I will not pass the interview being that we don't really know each other and don't have any assets or any bills together. What would happen if I don't go to this interview and I divorce? Can I marry my new girlfriend and get a new process started? Or what if I go with my wife to the interview and we don't pass and I am denied my green card? I am afraid If I go with my current wife which we didn't really get to spend any time together we don't have any proof of living together and such. What would be a better solution? Not go to the interview? Or go and risk it?

I would do whatever does not involve lying to INS. I'm a little concerned that you and your wife don't know each other well - ?

If this was some sort of set up or arrangement I'd consult with an Attorney before you find yourself in serious trouble.

If you are separate or divorce, don't go to the interview. Send a letter to USCIS stating that your marriage has come to an end, so you want to withdraw the petition.

Since your marriage is too short and no domestic abuses involved, you won't be eligible to apply for green card by getting married to someone else. The best choice is to leave US and have your new spouse apply immigrant visa for you. It's well advised that you consult experienced immigration attorney as this case is not easy and you don't want to make any mistakes. Good luck..
