    Sewer Odor in house
    I have sewer odor when using washing machine. Thought I was all the time but did not wash clothes for three days and did not have odor.

    Hi, pirate99!

    Where is the wastewater from your washer emptying into, please? The pipe where it is going might possibly the source of the odor.

    Where do you smell the odor at? The washer stand pipe? Another fixture? Please give us more details, tom

    Excellent observation, Tom!

    I came to a hasty conclusion and it didn't occur to me that the smell could be from somewhere else outside of what the washer is attached. I agree that more information is needed here.
