Ohhhhh, I am so sorry you have been ill. Glad you feel like a million buck now! I've missed you as well. With the craziness that goes on in the ol' Castle, we need you when you can pop in!

Been doing any craft or art work lately? I have been painting on some old windows for the show but will also take my pencil drawings as usual. I have two new commission pieces I have to have done by Christmas, well, before so they can have them matted and framed then one for after Christmas so I will be a busy kid for awhile.

I'll send photos!! A gal that put backs and hangers on my windows said someone had given her some old windows and I could have them if I would like. I offered to pay her but she said no... she wasn't going to use them. I mentioned to her about putting quilt squares in them since she doesn't paint but she does do crafts but she said she still wanted me to have the windows so I will get those next week. She is just bringing them to the store. I had only painted on one window and my son-n-law decided I needed to do this for the show this year! Always an adventure. Had not worked in color in a long time. I better fly out of here for now but watch your mail and I will get those images send later today!! So happy to have connected with you today! Have a good rest of the day and keep feeling good!! The Castle needs you! :) Bye bye for now!

Me too Reb. I can see this is making you happy;)
I love anything to do with old windows, I think I may go find a few... for some reason I sold a bunch of them when we moved. I know where to get some though:)
I think I will paint one and then add some great kids pictures in the panes;)
Can't wait to get the mail. Can you post in the art thread to please, I am sure everyone would love to see them!

    Hi Everyone,

I don't have long, just stopping in to say a quick hello and to post a picture of the newest member to the Altenweg family.

This is Chewy, he's 8 weeks old. He's taken to us as quickly as we've taken to him. I'll write more later, just wanted to show you.

Rebby, I usually dress up like a pilgram, and then I go hide colored eggs on myself and see if I can find them! The shoes with the buckles are sometimes a problem! After that I go out carolling, and go to the neighbors doors and holler trick or turkey! Then I come home and put all of my turkey in a picnic basket, and set off fireworks, and then write out thank you notes on little red hearts to the neighbors! Then I go inside, mix myself a glass of green beer, and wait for a jolly old man to show up and make a mess out of my fireplace, and whack him over the head, for bringing me crappy presents! :p
