OK, now I'm going to post some pictures from the ArtRage2 Forum. This is the program that my daughter ordered for me today, and your finished products, when you are good at it, look like real oil paints, so I just wanted to share these which were uploaded by others with you. I already found a few styles that are my favorite...

So, here goes.. I named the files wrong, instead of lilies, they should be lotus.. but they are nice. The last one is by someone else and his style is also nice enough to want to escape into the scenes. Hope you like them.

This one is from the artist who 'painted' the lotus too. I really like this one a lot. Going to make a jigs@w puzzle out of it. The artist calls him/herself Clown...

His other grandparents would also really enjoy that clip. Both are (were) teachers, grandpa a retired preacher too, and his Dad reads at least 2 books a week (my kind of guy) - I'm sure Alex will get a lot of wise nurturing in his life from all of those role models - and naturally the patient love and understanding from his Mom. Knowing that he will have all this support while growing up makes me feel at peace and secure that he's got a chance in life. What more can a grandmother want for her loved ones?

Don't be surprised that within 14 years, there will be a young 'newbie' on AMHD saying hi to his grandma's old friends and thanking you all for those wonderful post cards and other gifts. I keep copies of links to threads here for him to check out when he's old enough. And naturally, all of your cards and letters - heck he'll have a super collection all thanks to my AMHD family.

Just got my third infusion today and next is a CT to see if this regimen is worth repeating - they hope that my monster has slowed down a little. After all, I promised my brother that I'd still be here at Christmas when he comes over to visit me. And, I've got to keep my promises, sometimes not on time, but better late than never.

Enclosing two pictures that I got from my 'little' brother who lives in Vegas. He was at a friend's wedding in Hawaii at the time. He's my very own Care Bear!

    Until next time,

Hawaii is so beautiful and peaceful Chery. Every time I am there I am at peace and never wish to leave. Only a few places on earth like this.

I know that Alty will agree, she has been there too.

It is really someplace very special isn't it M... last time was our honeymoon for 16 days. It took me a day or so to really relax... but then it was like heaven on earth. Every day was exceptional, significant, unique, unusual, extraordinary, educational, memorable and very festive along with being peaceful. :):) I would love to be able to live there.

Until the day before we had to get ready to come back and I started thinking about business again... well you know how it is...

Ah Hawaii, love it, love it, love it. I too went on my honeymoon, and believe it or not we actually did get out of the hotel room often enough to see a lot of Hawaii. :);)

I would go back in a heartbeat, but with two young children it would be hard. Maybe in a few years, when the rugrats are older. ;)

I landed there with my family on the way to Japan at the age of 10, so I did not get to see much of it. My brother Ed was in training there on a military base a while ago and he said it is expensive to live there. It was the first time there for John, as he was later born in Japan, so was Ed. I bet, because there just is no more room on an island for more real-estate, unless we build an underground(water) city. Imagine something like in 'Seaquest'.

Now, imagine Japan in the 60's, where the dollar was worth 390 Yen, too bad I was just a kid then and had two new brothers to care for. Didn't have much of a 'childhood' per say. School was fun and swimming every day of the year (no arthritis flares there). And I love the Japanese food and culture and still make my own sushi - also have a few material memory items from there. One of my favorites is a black Sake set with solid gold flowers on it. Going to let John (little brother) have it to keep as a family memory.

Just got done cleaning my email folders, and they really needed it. Had a long day, wonderful emails, and going to round off the evening playing a computer game that I got addicted to (Rebound Infinity). I use the 'kids' skill level where I don't lose a ball, yeah, I'm still a kid.

No way, boys... I use my tablet and pen, faster than a mouse and I always score high since my reaction is still good. Haha.

Glad Hawaii brings back nice memories for some of you, It is a beautiful state.

    Night, night..

OMG, Stringer, get that clone of your's done NOW!

I love my pay TV National Geographic and the History channel too. And there is not one science fiction show that I have missed yet (at least the ones that are aired here). Andromeda is not bad either. I just love Richard Dean Anderson and Kevin Sorbo - wouldn't throw them off the bed.. yes I would because there's more room to play there. Seriously, I think both of them are great actors and don't cause a scene in public, plus have stable family lives... just like you my love. So hurry with that clone..

How about Jeremiah, now... that would be a wacky new world to think of if those greedy nuts keep ruining things for real with their New World Order crap. Let's find an Island and get 'Lost' too. But it's got to have all the TV shows saved on a huge computer that will last forever. We can choose which re-runs we want to watch after swimming and fishing.

What kind of shows does Marta like?

Who's Wiggy? Did I miss something?

We'll need these on that Island too.

    Crazy Wiggy is right. ;)

How to explain? You see Momma C, when choosing my username I wasn't at all creative, you see, I didn't think I'd be here that long, ask my question, get an answer, leave. So, when I chose my username I figured I'd pick something I wouldn't forget, my last name. :(

When hubby was in school no one could pronounce Altenweg correctly, they said "Otanwig",before hubby knew it they shortened it to Wig, then started calling him Wiggy. That's how Wiggy was born.

When Wiggy was 19 he met a wonderful, gorgeous, intelligent, vivacious, absolutely terrific girl, 5 years later he married her.

So you see, Wiggy is my hubby, the lucky guy. ;)

And yes, I am that gorgeous, intelligent, vivacious, absolutely terrific, don't forget mother of his children, cleaner of his home, cooker of his meals, girl. Darn that man lucked out. ;)

Yes he certainly did luck out there my love. I bet he just gets a kick out of you and Starby's transition to children as much as I do. You are multi-talented and have a great big heart.

Thanks to you and Starby for setting me straight on this one.

Here I am, still on, and I was going to play a game..

I too started one day, found this site for an answer and look where it got me.. to this wonderful family and this thread that you and Starby did just for me. I think I found a home-away-from-home here, and appreciate the warmth and love I've received throughout the years. I admit, I'm Addicted! Addicted to the love and super support (let's not forget the postcards and wonderful gifts) from you, my wonderful AMHD family.

I've also enjoyed helping people solve their issues here to the point where I was promoted to an Expert by my peers - that was some super recognition which makes me still proud today. And I will keep on helping as many and for as long as I can. Momma C is never a quitter!
