Hi I wanted to know how to remove black blue hair dye, basically I've been using clairol black velvet, volume 30 developer and about 1/4oz of clairol blue color intensifer for about 7 years and I'd like to try something different. Background info I dye my hair every 5 or 6 months, I do not touch up roots in between dying and my hair very long (down just past my butt) so I'd like to use something that's gentle-ish. My hair is healthy but because of the length I don't want to chance damaging it with super super super super bleachy chemicals although I do realize I'm going to have to use semi bleachy chemicals, Id like to know if there's less bleachy product(s) to remove the blue black dye. Any info would be very very much appreciated thank you.:D

I am not sure there is a healthier way to get the color out, the least you can do is go to a salon and explain what you want. You'll be in professionals hands there, so you could trust them. If you take good care of your hair, you'll have no worries.
