    Charged without being notified.
    Is it possible to be charged with an offense and not know you've been charged?

    Sure. You'll find out about it when they arrest you, or maybe they'll send you a letter. I don't know. Whadya do? If you robbed a bank, I doubt they'll send mail. But, if you ran a red light, they surly would.

    Yes, They will often charge you with the crime before you know about it, After that they will issue a warrant for you, and/or sometimes give you notice to appear.
