    Is rain living?
    I am asking about a lot of things if there living or nonliving because I am confused and need some help if things are living or nonliving.:):p

    According to Wikpedia... A general list of characteristics of a living thing is that it undergos metabolism, possess a capacity to grow, responds to stimuli, reproduce and, through natural selection, adapts to its environment in successive generations. Think about that and see how it applies to the different things (rain, sun... whatever else) you have asked about.

    You have received a very fine, helpful and caring about you answer from FlyYakker above! However, it would also be good to know here as to what the definitions were that you were given by your teacher or what it says in your textbook as to what is living or non-living.

    The subject in general and subsequent discussion that could ensue as to whether something is living or non-living without knowing the specific definitions that you were given could get quite philosophical depending on the viewpoint and understanding of the persons providing the answers.
