    Need weight of 1989 15ft Fleetwood Prowler Trailer
    Hi All:
    We are looking for the gross vehicle weight of a 1989 15ft Fleetwood Prowler Travel Trailer. We have a 2002 Ford Windstar and are trying to fiqure out if we put a towing package on the vehicle, can we tow the trailer? Thanks to any answers you have.

    That should be listed on the registration for the trailer or perhaps on the title. The tongue will have a stamp or engraving in the frame for what the tongue weight is, whether you can hitch it to your particular hitch without it tearing off the car. It also depends on how much stuff you are packing for your trip.
    Usually you but the towing package as an option when you purchase the car, it includes heavy duty springs, a larger engine, the electrical connections, and a transmission and radiator larger than normal to carry the extra strain. Is there a possibility you could rent a car for the trip?
