    HPT with low hormone levels
Is there a chance that a home pregnancy test will show negative if your hormone levels are low to begin with and you are pregnant? I have PCOS and all my hormone levels are low to begin with. Could a positive test show negative?

False negatives are much more common than false positives. So, it is a possibility.

However, with pregnancy is the hormone hCG, it is produced in your body ONLY with pregnancy as it is the fertilized ovum that actually produces the hormone.
